"Excellent! The Edwardses have truly walked a faith-led life. Their testimony is such a witness to the faithfulness of our Lord. The scripture intertwined within their testimony re-enforces that the Lord continues to be faithful today. He will always be faithful.
At times while reading this book, I was so inspired it brought tears to my eyes. How faithful our Lord is! The Edwardses’ testimony reminds us that our real purpose is to love the Lord our God with all of our hearts, souls, and minds and to lead others to Christ!”

Mark and Kathy have been mentors in my personal walk with Jesus, showing me how to live through the trials of disease, war, and our own sinful nature by putting Jesus first. They entered my life prophetically when I needed them, and this book has done the same. The Edwardses’ story is a wonderful testament of His power to overcome all obstacles when you live for Christ, and I thank them for sharing it!”

"The morning after I finished reading Roll Away the Stone, I woke up feeling like I had just experienced a life-changing dream, only to realize it wasn’t a dream at all!
A bold, confident faith has been ignited in my heart. There is no turning back to the limited version of Jesus I once knew.
I want more!”

Roll Away the Stone was a joy to read! At the end of every chapter, I felt like a child curled up beside a grandparent, leaning in at the edge of every moment and ready to blurt out, “And then what happened?!”
It invites the reader to look for the fingerprints of God in their own lives, to notice just how closely He cares for both the big and even seemingly little things.
I especially enjoyed hearing both authors’ perspectives on the events they discussed. Their different viewpoints added depth and made the experience even more engaging.
This book is a great read for anyone wondering what a relationship with Jesus looks like day to day, or for anyone wrestling with whether He truly is as good as people claim.

Great read!
This book is a very encouraging story of how God turned hardship into faith. I have a tight budget, so it brings me a lot of hope to read about how God has helped others through hardship like mine.
The authors use a combination of both the husband and the wife's perspective. It's helpful to see both.
I also appreciate how the story focuses on scripture and what Jesus was doing in their lives, versus focusing on the 'wrong things.' You get to read strong correlating scriptures that directly apply to the situations in their life.
I recommend this book for anyone! It makes a great group read too, like a book club.

This book absolutely gave me a new perspective and admiration for God and how much he can change lives for the better. Reading the trials and challenges that Mark and Kathy had gone through and God moving in their lives in such a profound manner that makes me want to live for Jesus in a similar way! Overall a great book that’s a nice bedtime read, that’ll have you wanting more!

This biographical narrative and theologically powerful account of how The Holy Spirit works in the lives of ordinary people to accomplish the perceived impossible or extraordinary will lift up the readers and invite a closer relationship with the King of kings, Immanuel, Healer, Teacher and the Lord, our Saviour Jesus the Christ. I give all praise and glory to the Lord for His faithful disciples Mark and Katharine and all the seeds they planted.
A good man once said if you are looking for revival (which the United States of America is desperately hungry to experience by the way) - just lean over and draw a circle on the ground, step into the circle, and pray: “I confess that I am a sinner, please forgive me and revive me O Lord, and empower all within this circle to preach the Gospel to reach the least and the lost.”
I loved reading this book and found chapter 59 particularly inspirational and instructional for practical ways to practice piety and maintain faithful obedience to the Word.

This book truly touched my heart. It’s an honest and beautifully written book that shares a journey of faith, trust, and hope.
Reading it was a reminder of how powerful it can be to lean into faith and how God provides, even when the way forward isn’t clear.
I’m so grateful I read it and would recommend it to anyone needing encouragement or reassurance.

If you are looking for hope, look no further. This book confirms that God is still alive and well, even in this day and age. He is faithful in the big and even the small things, as we strive to first love God, and then, to love His people. Be prepared to reignite your passion for God or learn how to establish the personal relationship with Him that you have been missing by praying a simple prayer, which is written in these pages. Become inspired to follow the Lord’s will for your life as you read example upon example of His faithfulness, as Christian couple, Mark and Katharine, choose to seek God’s direction in their lives daily.
This is my take-away from the book in a nutshell:
Remember, adversity will arise, discouragement will seep in, you will face disappointments, and even people you trust may hurt you, but through all of these hardships you must fully rely on God to forgive and persevere. As you walk by faith, you will learn to trust in the Lord and His Goodness and Mercy. God will use you for His Glory and He will continually provide for your needs
WITHOUT FAIL! We may not realize it in the moment, but God is always working behind the scenes for our good.
So don’t miss this powerful account of God’s unwavering love, provision, and protection.
You will truly be blessed!
God is good all the time, all the time God is good!!!

In Roll Away the Stone, Mark and Kathy Edwards share their story of faith and learning to trust in God’s goodness and provision. They share their passion for church building and their vision that God wants America to receive a new heart. Passages of Scripture are referenced throughout the book illustrating the profound way God’s Word reveals itself to be relevant in our lives, as if each passage were written specifically for us and the situations we are experiencing in the moment. Most poignantly, Mark and Kathy explain that we will experience trials and hardships in our lives, but they teach us to persevere as God grows our faith and reveals His plans for our lives. Faith only grows as we realize our dependence on God.
Roll Away the Stone is highly recommended, especially if you are experiencing doubts, enduring setbacks, or feeling like you are taking two steps back for every step forward. It will uplift your spirit, encourage you, and help strengthen you to dedicate yourself to growing your faith, knowing God’s will for your life, and living the life that God has planned for you, a life that will ultimately prove God’s goodness and show His glory.

Roll Away the Stone is a beautiful and heartfelt testimony of love for the Father, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. Story after story attests to the goodness and faithfulness of God. Through the lovingly penned words of this book, I felt the heartbeat of the Father reaching across the pages, with deep longing for all who read to respond “Yes” and draw close to Him and become part of His eternal family.Reading about their struggles and hardships and seeing the Edwardses overcome by God’s strength and power is such great encouragement for all of us to hang in there and endure, understanding that Jesus will help us too! Roll Away the Stone is a powerful example of being sold out to Jesus and living a life of obedience, pleasing to the Father and bringing Him glory!

I really enjoyed reading how much the Lord moved in Mark and Kathy's lives in such might ways. They remained faithful in the mountains as well as the valleys. They both totally gave of themselves to Jesus. This encourages me to do likewise.

A fascinating read about Mark and Kathy's walk of faith. Two very committed Christians who had many challenges in their efforts to help others reach eternal life with the Lord.

The Edwards gave up The America Dream to pursue their God calling. In reading their well-written memoir, I examined my own walk with Christ ... and identified the stone He would've me partner with the Holy Spirit to roll away
